Grounds For U.S. Civil War.
from Elijah Gatewood -
Why Survival In Washington, D.C.
and Iraq are connected.
Reporting from Washington.
41-year old Black man here. What goes on in
Beirut, is the same that goes on throughout
the world. There is evil everywhere, and
they come not but to steal, kill and destroy.
In 2003, the United States military invaded
Iraq based on claims of weapons of mass
destruction and for supporting terrorism.
Though to this day, no such arsenal has been
found. Today's date is December 11th, 2006.
But regardless of that, it is widely accepted
that Saddam Hussein's Government had a right
to weapons of mass destruction, considering
threats from the U.S. and else where. People
in Washington, D.C. are banned from having
handguns in the U.S. nation's capital. This
runs counter to 2nd Amendment "Right To Bear
Arms" that is granted to U.S. citizens under
the United States Constitution.
The argument about Iraq endorsing terrorism
is furthermore unfounded. For no nation or
family or business can survive without basic
rules, and terrorism is nothing more than
executing laws of nature. America is a country
based on Democracy, which supports freedom;
Iraq is a nation founded upon Islamic law.
Democracy and Islam cannot co-exist, for
Democracy creates chaos and confusion.
Washington Post reports in the United States
for December 7th-8th, 2006, have already made
it public that an American Iraqi Panel has
stated the war in that country has failed.
Even then Secretary of Defense-designate
Robert Gates before Congress has said the
U.S. "is not winning in Iraq".
It might as well be admitted that the invasion
to create Democracy in Iraq was a mistake
because it was done with the use of force.
On the other hand, the panel has called for a
diplomatic offensive, which already tells us
that there is no such thing with Americans.
The United States is a country likewise founded
on war, the revolutaionary war, and many
battles following it shows us this. They
robbed Texas from the Mexicans. And most of all,
did the same from the American Indian in every
state of the Union. And to this day, Blacks
and Whites are still in engaged in racial tension
within the District of Columbia, all because
some in authority want to make a profit off
of what has happened in the past.
Nevertheless, regardless of the report by
the U.S. Iraqi Panel, and testimoney from
Secretary of Defense Robert Gates, U.S.
President Bush is defiant to "staying the
course". He says that there will be "no major
troop withdrawals or discussion with
neighboring Iran and Syria" to quell the
civil war in Iraq.
With that said, then most U.S. citizens
must aid their Iraqi neighbors by unleashing
armed revolt here at home. And no better
place for it to start than in Washington,
D.C.
