The Western media is exposing as much about itself by what it doesn't say, as what it does.

After the assassination of Rafiq Hariri, the media, with virtually one voice, declared Syria responsible, completely devoid of evidence. This, of course, led to the Syrians being pressured to pull their troops out of Lebanon, weakening the country's defenses, and enabling the long-planned Israeli assault of this past summer, which destroyed most of what had been rebuilt since the last israeli war, slaughtered civilians, and left the country littered with cluster bomblets.

Nowhere in the media's coverage were the equally-unsubstantiated pro-Syrians' claims that the Mossad or CIA was behind the assassination. Statements by officials with the French intelligence service DGSE suggest that they had evidence of Mossad involvement, even as the Government of Jacques Chirac supported the Bush/PNAC Regime's anti-Syrian program.

This admission barely earned a mention in the Western press.

Likewise, the media covered the Western-funded anti-Syrian demonstrations, and all but ignored and attempted to downplay the pro-Syrian demos, which were much larger, and orchestrated from within.

Now, we see another assassination in Lebanon, and again without pause - or evidence - the Western media has pinned the blame on Syria. This time, the assassination, and the Western-led furor against Syria, threatens to divide Lebanon, possibly so far as to create a civil war.

Now, who would want to see the Lebanese people fighting and killing each other; the Syrians, longtime allies of the Lebanese, or the Israelis and Americans under their influence, who've planned aggression towards both Syria and Lebanon?

Don't be fooled, dear people of Lebanon.

This is an old, Colonial trick, called "Divide & Rule".

It's what the British and Americans are doing in Iraq, creating "False Flag Attacks" to divide the Iraq People, so that they will not remain unified in their Resistance to the illegal occupation - just as they discussed a full year before the war began - as proven by leaked documents, such as "Iraq: Options Paper".

Spread this message far and wide.

Your brothers and fellow Lebanese are not your enemy.

Your enemies are the ones from outside your borders, who look at your land with envious eyes, and are attempting to trick you into killing each other.

The same people who murdered Gemayal.
