We are an international, intercultural community of persons engaged in achieving increasing understanding and cooperation between individuals and groups in support of democratic procedures and the elimination of violence, religious, ethnic and gender persecution, youth exploitation, homophobia and racial hatred through the process of art, education, culture and dialogue.
Wir sind eine internationale, interkulturelle Gemeinschaft von Menschen mit dem Engagement für ein besseres Verständnis und wachsende Kooperation zwischen Individuen und Gruppen, mit Unterstützung des demokratischen Prozesses und der Beseitigung von Gewalt, Verfolgung aufgrund religiöser, ethnischer und geschlechtlicher Zugehörigkeit, Kindes- und Jugendmissbrauch, Homosexuellen-Feindlichkeit und von Rassenhass, durch die Mittel der Kunst, der Bildung, der Kultur und des Dialogs.

1 Day, When I Grow Up!
So, as usual, I wuz sittin' an' stinkin' 'bout the sneakin' up on us, freezin' weather an' I alwayz know wut that meens!
Skool an' the dragon-teecher are cumin' outta the ground upon me an' lots of other lucky kidz, reel fast!
How cum, the vakation is over so quik an the next thing you know, you gotta be in cold weather an' dungeon skool with the dragon-teechers!
How cum, the dragon-teecher alwayz cums back lookin' fresh an' hungry an' wantin' lots an' lots of homework?
I meen she never runs outta ideas for work an' I'm alwayz short on ideas for answers to her questions?
But my answers shortness never stops her an' she jes keeps plungin' forward into my poor kidz brain!
She shudda played football or rugby or sumthin' ruff like that!
She da bin perfekt!
My father alwayz sez, "look son, school won't last forever and these are some of the best days of your life!"
Oh yeah!?
"You don't have to go to work every day, no family responsibilities and you are free as a bird!"
Yeah, I'm free like a jailbyrd!
It's funny 'bout perents, you luv 'em, but sumtimes they jes don't git it!
Skool, edukation, guud behavier, bein' on time, neatness – wow – it goes on an' on!!
The list is yearless!
A kid is jes a komputer-robot to obey, memorize things an' give back wut wuz programmed in!
I wuz watchin' T.V. this summer an' it wuz strenge wut wuz on. Guys kickin' balls from all over the wurl an' guys shootin' peeple in lotsa places in the wurl!
I gotta admit, wen I see the places where kidz live after the bombs an' bulletts are finished, I kinda agree with my papa 'bout the 'vantages me an' my sister have, as bein' here steada bein' there!
I don' git it!
The dragon-teecher an' my perents alwayz tell my sister an' I to behave guud to each other, but wen I look at T.V. I see lotsa peeple doin' no-guud to lotsa other peeple, so I guess, sumbodies not listnin' to sumbody!
Maybe they didn't git home trainin' an' dragon-teecher learnin' like I do an' that's the reazon they act so big an' bad an' terrible!?
Wen I grow up, I'm not gonna behave like that, no matter wut!
I'm gonna find a way to be a diplomat an' find a peaceful way for us to git along an' solve our problems!
I'm sure I kin find a better way, than wut's goin' on!
Since my father's not runnin' the diplomacie like I know he culd, I guess it's up to me to git busy an' do sumthin' 'bout all the yukky fightin' an' quarrelin' stuff! An' I'm gonna do it!
It's gittin' dark outside an' I'm gittin' sleepy.

Erwachsensein!
Eines Tages, wenn ich erwachsen werde!
Also, wie üblich war ich am Sitz’n und Stink’n üba das sich anschleichende, frostige Wetter und ich weiß imma, was das heißt!
Die Schule und die Drachenlehrerin komm’ ausser Höhle hervor und üba mich und ’ner Menge and’rer glücklicher Kinder, ziemlich schnell!
Wie kommt’s, dass die Ferjen so schnell vorbei sind, und das nächste, was du weißt, ist, dass du im kalten Wetter bist und in der Kerkerschule mit den Drachenlehrern!
Wie kommt’s, dass die Drachenlehrerin imma so frisch und hungrig aussieht, wenn sie zurückkommt, und ’ne Menge und noch ’ne Menge Hausaufgaben will?
Ich mein’, ihr geh’n nie die Ideen für Arbeit aus und mir mangel’s imma an Ideen für Antworten auf ihre Fragen?
Aber mein Antwortmangel hält sie nie auf und sie gräbt sich einfach weiter in mein armes Kinderhirn!
Sie hätte Fußball oder Rugby spiel’n soll’n oder sowas ähnlich krasses wie das!
Sie wäre perfekt!
Mein Vater sagt imma: „Schau, Sohn, die Schule dauert nicht ewig und dies sind einige der besten Tage deines Lebens!“
Oh, sicher!?
„Du musst nicht jeden Tag zur Arbeit gehen, keine Verantwortung für eine Familie tragen und du bist frei wie ein Vogel!“
Klar, ich bin frei wie ein Vogel im Käfig!
Es ist komisch mit den Eltern, du liebst sie, aber manchma’ kapier’n sie einfach gar nix!
Schule, Ausbildung, gutes Benehmen, Pünktlichkeit, Sauberkeit – wow – das hört nie auf!!
Die Liste ist jahrelang!
Ein Kind is’ nur ein Komputerroboter zum Gehorchen, zum Erinnern an Sachen und ’rausgeb’n, was einprogrammiert wurde!
Ich hab in diesem Sommer Fernsehen gekuckt und das war merkwürdig, was da lief. Typen aus der ganzen Welt kickt’n Bälle und Typen schoss’n auf Menschen an vielen Orten in der Welt!
Ich muss zugeb’n, wenn ich die Orte seh, wo die Kinder nach den Bomben und Pistolenkugeln leb’n, stimm ich meim Papa irgendwie zu wegen der Vorteile, die ich und meine Schwester hab’n, weil wir hier sind statt dort!
Ich vasteh’s nich’!
Die Drachenlehrerin und meine Eltern sag’n meiner Schwester und mir imma, wir soll’n uns gegenseitig gut behandeln, aber wenn ich fernseh’, seh ich ’ne Menge Leute die ’ner Menge and’rer Leute nix Gutes tun, also denk ich, irgendwer hört irgendwem nich’ zu!
Vielleicht hab’m sie kein Training zu Hause gehabt und ’ne Schulung bei der Drachenlehrerin so wie ich und das is’ der Grund, warum sie sich so groß tun und schlecht und schrecklich!?
Wenn ich Erwachsen bin, werd ich mich nich so vahalt’n, egal, was passiert!
Ich werd einen Weg find’n, ein Diplomat zu sein und einen friedlichen Weg für uns, damit wir uns vertrag’n, und uns’re Probleme lös’n!
Ich bin sicher, ich kann ’nen besseren Weg find’n, als der jetzt gerade!
Da mein Vater nich’ die Diplomatie führt, wie er könnte – das weiß ich – denk ich ma’, is’ es wohl meine Aufgabe, was zu tun wegen dieser schrecklichen Kämpfe und diesem Streitkram. Und ich werd was tun!
Es wird dunkel draußen und ich werd müde.
