MEXICO CITY (SE).— Singer-songwriter Pablo Milanes will dedicate a concert on August 17 in Mexico City to President Fidel Castro, as the Cuban leader continues to recover from a recent surgery.
MEXICO CITY (SE).— Singer-songwriter Pablo Milanes will dedicate a concert on August 17 in Mexico City to President Fidel Castro, as the Cuban leader continues to recover from a recent surgery.
Milanes will perform songs from his latest album, Como un campo de maiz (Like a cornfield); an album that focuses on the theme of love. He will be joined by his daughters Haydee and Suylen.
Among the themes on the disc is a poem by Chilean poet Pablo Neruda set to music.
Pablo Milanes is among the many Cuban and international cultural personalities who have wished Fidel Castro a speedy recovery.
