Where can I get statistics to compare to what is being reported in the American media, which keeps such a good count of rockets but no count of missiles and bombs which I know have to be a much larger number than 1400 rockets?

I am reading in LA Times of the number of rockets entering Israel from Lebanon but no count is given in the paper of the number of bombs dropped on Lebanon by Israel.

I am also aware that only about 19 Israeli civilians have died from these rockets but over 600 Lebanese ( including some International civilians) have been killed plus over 1000 have been wounded and that many dead in bombed out buildings are not yet counted.

I AM TRYING TO GET A COUNT OF THE BOMBS.

Today 130 strikes in Lebanon by Israel are reported. Yesterday there was reported 90 strikes. The UN facility bombed was bombed 16 times over 6 hours. That was one target where multiple bombs were dropped in each strike. Multiply that 16 times 90 or 130 and it is equivalent to 1440-2080 + rockets in one day dropped on Lebanon compared to the 1400 by Hezbollah since July 12th.

Hezbollah while it does not have the accuracy of Israeli aircraft has still kept its death toll in Israel to primarily military personnel. A cease fire by both sides would stop all damage and I believe Hezbollah is willing to stop if there is called a cease fire by both sides.

Where can I get statistics to compare to what is being reported in the American media, which keeps such a good count of rockets but no count of missiles and bombs which I know have to be a much larger number than 1400 rockets. 23 tons of bombs were dropped on one apartment building in Lebanon this week.That would number more than 23 rockets. Rockets don't weigh a ton...they are moved around by a handful of fighters. Israel deliberately bombed a 4 story apartment building.

This reminds me of the several ton bomb dropped on an apartment in Palestine to kill a Palestinian Israel considers a terrorist which killed his wife, child and body guard along with 11 neighbor kids. I wonder what Israel would think if people would bomb the homes, families and neighbors of Israeli soldiers as a way to limit the aggression of Israel? Clearly these tactics enrage and inflame people and Israel could have participated in the unilateral cease fire called by and adhered to by of Hamas for 18 months but has steadily killed Palestinians since the "pullout" and assassinated
over 75 of suspected Palestinian resistance fighters since the January elections even before the capture of the Israeli soldier.

THE NUMBER OF PALESTINIANS KILLED IN MAY AND JUNE INCLUDING CIVILIANS WAS 90 BEFORE THE SOLDIER WAS CAPTURED. I GET A DAILY REPORT FROM A FRIEND WHO SPENDS HIS DAY GETTING THE NUMBERS OUT OF PALESTINE.

I WOULD APPRECIATE ANY SOURCE WHERE I MAY GET CREDIBLE NUMBERS TO COMPARE THE "DEFENSE" ISRAEL IS PUTTING UP.

I have information about the milk factory, UN convoys, civilian convoys bombed trying to escape and the red cross insignia on ambulances being targeted and bombed (Robert Fisk report)*. But would appreciate more info on civilian infrastructure targeted. I'm trying to prepare a letter to my local paper which usually prints my letters. I will also send to LA Times's readers reps who I have complained to about the lack of keeping equal the reporting of bombs to rockets. No report on bombs only report on rockets.

I am ashamed of my government; the President and his cohorts who include most members in the US Congress and any American who is not outraged by our complicity in this massacre going on in Lebanon (and of course Iraq, and Palestine) using US weapons and taxpayer's funds that bought them. I am not ashamed of being an American because as an American I continue to join other Americans to protest Israel's behavior and our government's role in the unspeakable blood bath in Lebanon, Palestine, and Iraq in front of the Israeli consulate and to my Senators and other government officials..
